Sabre (1978) Signed First

This is the signed edition issued by the publisher. Signed by both creators Don McGregor and Paul Gulacy on a bookplate opposite the title page.

“Slow Fade of an Endangered Species!” Written by Don McGregor. Art by Paul Gulacy.

“Sabre is a hero – the ultimate freedom fighter in a world gone mad. The country has been devastated by a nuclear holocaust and the ruling powers have all but gained control of the world. And yet, despite their prisons and concentration camps, a few intrepid souls have escaped their claws – and one of them even dares to fight back.”

An early independent graphic novel, created by two hungry young Marvel creators at the height of their early success, ballyhooed by the publisher and the comics press at the time.

48 pages, printed on 100 lb. cream color stock, staplebound, with a thick cover stock.
