Headbook – Ivan Shavrin

An artbook by this artist-illustrator formerly living in St. Petersburg, who is a comic book artist for Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, and Boom!, creates card art for Magic: the Gathering and other games, and a concept artist for Axis Studios.

I started this book in 2016 and it slowly became an authors project, where each page is a head that has become part of the story. This is a snapshot of a moment in time: my thoughts, experiences, and joys made into art.

Minimal text (a foreword and the artist’s biography) in English, Spanish, and French. The occasional text in the artwork is in English.
