Crickets 9

First new issue in two years! A new full color serial begins with The San Fernando Kid, a frolicking romp through the buttercups of robbery, racism, prison, and the proper way to tie a noose. The issue is rounded out with stories about Frederick the Great and bumping into “Old friends”, plus more. Comics for everyone!

Crickets 8 included the last chapter of Blood of the Virgin. With Crickets 9, Harkham begins a new serial story.

Sammy Harkham is best known for editing the Kramers Ergot comics anthology. His own comics can be found in his ongoing comic book Crickets. Blood of the Virgin, which ran in Crickets for 14 years, was collected in 2023.
